Big and bountiful - the largest early-season blueberry. The fruit has an outstanding flavor fresh, baked, and in preserves. Freezes well too! Plant features snowy blossoms in early summer and stunning orange leaves in fall. Patriot is classic selection of our WNC Native Northern Highbush Blueberry from 1976, with a little bit of low bush blueberry genetics mixed in, hence the slightly smaller size. Patriot was bred in Maine and is a bit more tolerant of heavier soils than most blueberries.
